I spent almost 2 weeks doing a whirlwind tour of New Zealand starting in Auckland and then travelling south through Rotorua, Taupo and Wellington. I took the ferry across to the South Island and then drove down the West coast, visiting Nelson (it was close to Richmond), the Glaciers, Queenstown, Twizel (Mt Cooke), Ashburton and then flew out of Christchurch.
