Photos - 2003 - Wales and England in April - Cadbury World
The last official stop on our tour of Wales and England was Cadbury Land. We went along expecting the worst and being pleasantly surprised. It was well kitted out for dealing with large numbers of small children. Lots of cheesy presentations and you get to see how the chocolate gets from the cocoa bean to you stomach. The Cadbury marketing machine explained how their chocolate came to be one of the best in the world and how they are an excellent employer who have had progressive work practices for a long time. They built a community called Bournville just outside Birmingham (now well inside it) for their employees to live and work in early this century.
